Beach Sprints NZ was established by West End Rowing Club and is dedicated to growing and promoting Coastal Rowing Beach Sprints throughout New Zealand.

As rowing's newest Olympic discipline, Beach Sprints will make its debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Combining explosive beach running, surf launches and high-speed racing, it is one of the fastest-growing disciplines in world rowing.

Our mission is to develop opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities through competitions, training programmes and community events while supporting clubs, schools and coaches to grow the sport across New Zealand.
